Chief Exception Handler
Our engineering team is searching for a brave and curious Chief Exception Handler to help us build reliable software while battling unexpected bugs, mysterious logs, and “works on my machine” moments.
In this role, you will develop modern applications, investigate strange production behaviour, and participate in highly scientific debugging sessions that may involve coffee, console logs, and guessing. You should be comfortable working with .NET, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and teammates who say “it was working yesterday.”
What You’ll Do
- Write clean, maintainable code and occasionally question your life choices
- Debug issues that disappear when someone else looks at them
- Deploy applications and hope the monitoring dashboard stays green
- Work with AWS, Docker, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Review pull requests with comments like “small change”
- Attend meetings that could have been messages
- Help improve system performance and reliability
Requirements
- Experience with .NET and backend development
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Ability to remain calm during production incidents
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable reading stack traces longer than novels
- Team player with a good sense of humour
Bonus Points
- You have said “just one quick fix” more than 50 times
- You know the difference between a warning and “this server is on fire”
- You have accidentally deployed to production at least once
What We Offer
- Flexible work environment
- Competitive salary
- Friendly team and low-drama culture
- Unlimited opportunities to learn new technologies
